Gentle structure, not rigid alarms
Start focus or breaks when you need them, pause anytime, and pick up exactly where you left off – without losing momentum.
Nudges that adapt to your day
NudgeLoop doesn’t just count down. It prompts you when focus ends, reminds you when attention drifts, and helps you choose what happens next.
Built around real work rhythms
Set your workday, lunch break and finish time so prompts appear when they actually matter – not when an app guesses.
On-watch control, no phone required
Everything is managed directly on your watch, with quick settings and simple controls designed for everyday use.
Supports smoother transitions
Breaks, lunch, returning to work and finishing for the day become easier to notice and act on.
Checks back when needed
If you miss a prompt, NudgeLoop returns at your chosen interval – helping reduce time drift without demanding attention.
Reducing time-blindness through gentle cues on your wrist.
The most commonly asked questions are answered below.
How does NudgeLoop reduce time-blindness?
By delivering subtle wrist vibrations, NudgeLoop helps you stay aware of time passing without distraction. It reminds you to start the timer, it ensures you don’t hyperfocus for too long and reminds you of your lunch breaks!
Can I customize the wrist-based cues?
Yes, you can personalise the length of focus sessions and breaks, as well as the duration of the ‘nag’ reminders. You may also set the number of times a break can be ‘dismissed’ before the app will no longer allow you to start a focus session without one. You also set the start and end times of your work day and lunch break.
Is NudgeLoop suitable for neurodivergent users?
Absolutely, it’s been designed with the feedback of the neurodiverse community and by a neurodiverse developer following lived experience.
What devices support NudgeLoop and how do I get it?
NudgeLoop is compatible with Android Wear (most Android Smart Watches) at the moment, but Apple Watch is being looked at for the future.
NudgeLoop is soon to be published on the Google Play Store.
Won’t I just forget to set my timer, like the dusty timer cube on my desk?
This is where the idea for NudgeLoop was born – the app reminds you at the start of your work day and after your lunch break to start the timer. It will vibrate every few minutes until you tell it to start focusing or that you’re done for the day!
What if I focus too much and hyperfocus? Will NudgeLoop help me?
Absolutely! It prompts you to take your breaks and to restart your focus sessions. To prevent you from dismissing a break too many times, the app allows you to configure the maximum number of back-to-back focus sessions allowed before the app will only allow you to proceed with a break!
